Proverbs 3:3-4 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you;bind them around your neck;write them on the tablet of your heart.So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.
When you are faithful, He is also Faithful. If you want to move forward, He leads you forward.
But if you want to stay there in same place, He has to first make you realise that where you are is not where you meant to be.
He has to let you heal first from the result of that sin and disobedience and prepare you to trust Him fully for the journey ahead. All this process will cause a pause for you to see success.
Your progress depend on how quickly you heal by yielding first and then surrendering to Him fully.
When the enemy distracts you and you do not know that it's a distraction, your wound gets ruptured again, In that place you focus on your problem/misery than on the goodness of God. You search for happiness in other things having been kept busy from the source of your strength and joy i.e God. But those idols make you forget your destiny for a brief period could be hours or days. They are not good for you. They are fake. You will realise it after spending time there being vexed in increasing hopelessness and misery.
Then you call on God.
That's when God responds to you but in the meantime, He will try to tell you that you were going wrong but you wouldn't listen to Him. He waits for you patiently in steadfast love and faithfulness until you fully trust and turn to Him alone away from all your idols with all your heart and that's when you truly begin to understand who you are in Him and where you are meant to be as He unpacks your potential with so much zeal having destroyed all the legal rights of the enemy over your life. He closes all those wrong doors, betrothes you to Himself and teaches you in secret place to be like Him. He becomes your joy and your everything, your most favourite possession and reward.
You will begin to love Him that He is good and to love to do what He says because you see that He is prospering you in your way.
You leave the mountain and move forward, hallelujah! The cycle is broken, the enemy is lost and you are on the path of victory and good success with God's favor.
“The LORD our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey. Deuteronomy 1:6
- You will get that job,
- Build that house,
- Get married, and have children,
- Inherit the land!

Proverbs 3:7-12 Be not wise in your own eyes;fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;then your barns will be filled with plenty,and your vats will be bursting with wine.My son, do not despise the LORD'S discipline or be weary of his reproof,
for the LORD reproves him whom he loves,
as a father the son in whom he delights.
Walk in the wisdom of God, fight the good fight
and win the race. Amen.
