Why God kept you there ?

God's favor placed you there

You are not in positions where you are right now by your face value or by your hardwork or by your strength.

You are there in that position highly favored by God for such a time as this to present Jesus the hidden mystery of ages to the lost, sick, deprived, forgotten, abandoned people of this world, wake them up from slumber to see who they are in Christ and walk in the fullness of the Power of God in His purposes for which they are built and placed on earth.

God invested on us thrice - once when He created us He breathed Himself into us and then on the cross He poured out Himself as an offering to God the Father on our behalf for our redemption from darkness and hellfire and thirdly He poured out His Spirit into us and upon us to walk in heavenly authority and freedom to enjoy His eternal life ABUNDANTLY here on earth and then enter His Glory when He returns or calls us Home.

Do not take for Granted what God gave you.

Esther 4:14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Do not be complacent in the midst of your comforts while your brethren are in prison or persecution for the sake of Jesus who redeemed us all.

Do not forget that once when Jesus loved you you were redeemed and brought out of a pit. Jesus didn't die just to make us good.

You are brought out of a pit to be kept there

He died so we could be brought from death to life,

what an incredible unfathomable work of God He does in the lives of those who submit to Him with a childlike heart !

When time has come Joseph was

1. Brought out of pit (delivered and set free from prison, humbled completely before God)

2. His clothes were changed (God's Glory covered him, it's not about his physical dress sense)

3. He stood face to face before the King and was made king

Genesis 41:14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they quickly brought him out of the pit. And when he had shaved himself and changed his clothes, he came in before Pharaoh

Be ready to walk in your purpose

Joseph dreamed years ago what God was going to do with his life. His purpose began unveiling before his eyes after several years of praying thriving even being imprisoned for no wrong of his own but the enemy used every means to crush him down.

God brought him out of the pit as he planned to do so with Joseph. It was not Joseph's greatness to become a King, it was God's favor and mercy upon nations that He prepared Joseph to preserve them during famine.

Genesis 41:38-40 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has shown you all this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command. Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you.”

Joseph obeyed God after becoming the king. He was under the King of kings Jesus the Lord of all. He saved many nations specially the nation of Israel from famine.

Be joined to the Lord not with the world

He set your free for a purpose but are you living it right now ? Are you even praying about it or praying just about family needs and wellbeing ?

It is important to note that not being for God is being against Him. Not being on behalf of children of God is being with wicked ones that are perishing eternally to hell. (Esther 4:14)

Be ready to die for the One who called you.

Esther was ready to die for God who called her to rise up and fulfill her purpose.

Esther 4:16 “Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.”

She then received abundant God's favor and saved all her nation from a wicked ruler, many innocent lives were spared from death.

Matthew 16:24-25 Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Glorious thing is - if you are ready to die for God, You will save your life but will not lose it.

Are we standing for the life of somebody to be preserved or just watching lives perishing ? At least praying for the lost is the work of God but not sitting back watching movies remaining in our own comfort zones unmindful of the suffering happening in nations amongst our brethren.

Do the good works for which you are created

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Let us do the good works wherever we are placed by God for His glory and be faithful till the end. Let us be ready to die for Truth and save our souls than to be sold out for that which is false and lose our souls.  The comforts of this world are a lie that everything is ok in the midst of lost sick and perverse generation that needs a Savior desperately.

So let us live in the Truth of our salvation and present the Truth to the lost the dead ones so that they will be brought to life like we are when we first got saved.

Jesus is coming soon, this time He is coming as a judge. We need to be ready to face Him.
